Recently, CNN broadcast reports that TSA was considering dropping passenger screening at small airports. According to today’s report on CBS News, TSA has no plans to do this and it was never under serious consideration.
The rumor irked members of congress, on both sides of the aisle. Today’s interview with TSA officials indicate they believe it was partisan staffers that leaked the story in an effort to make the current administration look bad.
