The Transportation and Security Administration (TSA) has begun installing CT scanners for checking carry-on bags at airports across the U.S.A.
These scanners will allow 3D images to enhance security.
Currently, they are installed at Phoenix Sky Harbor, Boston Logan airport and JFK in New York. Soon, they will be installed at Los Angeles, San Diego, Oakland, Las Vegas and Chicago. Eventually, they will be at 15 airports.
TSA claims these will help them identify explosives and weapons. Do you think this will speed-up going through TSA or slow things down? Post your comments below.
